You will be asked to complete a yearly version of the ACTIVLIM scale.
ACTIVLIM is a Rasch built model that measures the activity limitations in children and adults with neuromuscular diseases. It transforms each activity into a score. We can then observe the evolution of each individual throughout time.
ACTIVLIM differs from the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), as it is not looking at articulation of movement nor strength, but the ease at which a patient can perform an activity in his daily environment. ACTIVLIM explores the ability for a patient to perform an activity or not.
The scale caters questions for children and adults differently and follows the evolution from childhood to adulthood.
The scale is specific for patients with neuromuscular diseases.
